listening to car seat headrest is better than gooning
like legitimately. im not talking from moral point of view, i mean that it feels so much more satisfying.
kinda weird thing to write about so im js gonna review the albums ive listened to i guess
- twin fantasy: 5/5 i mean its the most famous. its really good. ive listened to it probably 20 times at least. there are 2 versions. "twin fantasy (mirror to mirror)" is the first one from 2011, its way more lofi and a bit more experimental. "twin fantasy (face to face)" is a re-recording from 2018. its more polished and some songs are extended. i think i prefer mirror to mirror, but face to face is more accessible
- teens of denial: i listened to it earlir and thats what made me write this. every song is a masterpiece, but especially "drunk drivers/killer whales" and "cosmic hero"
- how to leave town: really damn good too
- monomania: it has some nice songs but it doest feel as NICE as the others. maybe i havent listened to it enough
- the scholars: ehh. the older stuff is better imo but ive only listened to it once or twice. the singing feels too high quality
- 3: its nice. havnt lisyened to it well enough
